Multiple tours will meet at Pershing Square so look out for the appropriate sign!

I woke up bright and early this past Saturday to take the Art Deco walking tour with LA Conservancy. Their tours are $10 per person, or $5 when you become a member. You get about 2 hours worth of informational fun, totally worth it.

American architects, inspired by the art deco furniture they saw at the Paris Exposition, incorporated this concept of art deco into architecture. Art deco buildings draw your eyes up with sculpted glass, zig zag designs and recessed windows.

  1. I’ve wanted to do these tours for awhile. I’m going to show your post to my husband in hopes of getting him excited and onboard to give it a shot. Your pictures are lovely and it looks like an awesome tour of LA- Especially for the price point. You can’t beat!
